My journey into children’s books didn’t start in a boardroom—it began in the snack-covered, giggle-filled, wonderfully messy moments of parenthood. I was raising tender little hearts and always hunting for the right words to calm big feelings and spark big dreams. I’ve definitely not done it all perfectly (not even close!), but every step has been taken with good intentions and a whole lot of love.”
It all really began the first day my oldest child said something so funny that I burst out laughing. In between the giggles, I thought to myself, “This could be a story.” I quickly typed the title into my phone and promised myself that one day I’d write it. Then life got busy—meetings, schedules, endless to‑dos—until I finally pressed pause and decided to explore my creative side and give those little story ideas a real home.
Writing these stories has been pure fun—and a big adventure in learning. I’ve learned how to talk to little ones about big topics, how to draw and bring characters to life, how to print a book, and how to share it with the world. My hope is that these stories make it a little easier for you to explain the big, tender subjects we touch on to the little hearts you love most.
Raising a child takes a village—but many times, it feels like we’re doing it alone. My hope is that, along the way, these stories can help you gently guide your little ones to explore a life full of love, fun, and beauty. Every child has the capacity for a beautiful heart—we just need to remind them, again and again, to believe it.
