My journey into children’s books wasn’t planned in a boardroom; it was born in the quiet moments of parenthood, amidst the messy, beautiful reality of raising young hearts and searching for the right words to guide them.
It all began with a simple observation: children possess an incredible capacity for empathy, but they often lack the vocabulary for their biggest emotions. As I started writing stories for my own family, I realized that a gentle narrative paired with warm illustrations could bridge that gap. This was the seed that grew into Home & Heart Stories.
Building this bookstore was an extension of that mission. I wanted to create a haven where every book is a tool for connection. From self-publishing my first children's book to curating this space, every step has been guided by the desire to help families talk about the things that truly matter—love, courage, and belonging.
